The clothing and backpack were first created in Marvelous Designer for the base shapes and main folds, then refined in ZBrush with additional details like finer wrinkles. I also used Substance Sampler to add embroidered patches to the jacket.
Working in Marvelous Designer was one of the most enjoyable parts of this project. To ensure the backpack sat naturally on the character, I simulated it directly over the jacket for realistic interaction.
